The Plan aims to boost the implementation of the National Climate Adaptation Strategy with the purpose of providing a support tool to national, regional and local institutions for identifying and choosing the most effective actions to address the critical issues that characterize the various climatic areas, and for integrating adaptation criteria into the existing procedures and tools.
